The Colorado School of Mines Annual Short Course on Grouting Fundamentals and Current Practice has been bringing industry leaders together with owners, engineers and contractors for 35 years. This year, the company dedicated a Casagrande M-6 drill rig to the course for a field demonstration.

Moretrench Vice President and Chief Engineer, Paul Schmall, Ph.D., P.E., whose presentation at the course this year is on compensation grouting at the East Side Access project in New York, notes: “The classroom sessions are very comprehensive and instructive, but a field demonstration really adds to the attendees’ understanding of these specialty techniques.”
