The Pan Mass Challenge  is a 46-town, 192-mile cycle ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown.  The event, which drew more than 5,700 participants this year, is in support of Dana-Farber Institute in Boston, a world leader in patient care and cancer research, and Moretrench was a proud team sponsor.

“I was contacted by Ken Knowles, an old college friend who’s now the Principal of Eaglebrook Engineering out of Danvers, MA,” said New England Operations Manager  Bob Tonning.  “His company regularly participates in the challenge. He is also a long-time supporter of an Emily’s Pink Team golf event I run in support of my daughter and her work in raising awareness about Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis,  and so it was a pleasure for all of us in the Assonet office to reciprocate by becoming one of Ken’s sponsors this year.”

Although the ride took place back in early August, 2016, the fundraising totals have just been announced. The event raised a record $47,000,000 through corporate and individual support.  Since its inception in 1980, the Challenge has raised more than $500,000,000 for Dana-Farber.
