What We Expect From You?

We have been problem solvers and innovators in underground construction for more than 100 years. Our work is as demanding as our standards. There is no room for error. As a Moretrench engineer, whether a seasoned professional or fresh out of college, we expect 100% commitment to excellence. You will be expected to be on sites and travel as required. You will be expected to be a team player.


What We Will Do For You

While we expect a lot from you, we don’t expect you to do it alone. You will be introduced to a range of professional development programs designed to enhance your knowledge of the geotechnical industry and your growth as an engineer.

We expect you to submit your application for the PE exam as early as possible. We have over 25 Professional Engineers on staff. To date, nobody’s application has been denied for lack of engineering experience.

Entry level Staff engineers undergo a two-year rotational program for hands-on exposure to a range of our client services. During this time, you will be given significant individual responsibility and be a fully functioning member of the team. You will also be assigned a personal mentor, drawn from our seasoned staff, who will meet with you on a regular basis, offer insight and input, and answer any questions.

At Moretrench, your education begins after graduation. We offer and underwrite many opportunities for professional development, including attending short courses and seminars conducted by qualified professionals. Many of these offer the Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) that are essential to maintaining a professional license. We also offer discretionary tuition reimbursement for individuals selected to pursue a higher degree and/or professional licensing.
