December 5, 2017

MMH, StJoesAwardMoretrench is pleased to announce that Executive Vice President, Michael McHugh has been recognized by St Joseph’s Medical Center, Yonkers, NY, with its 2017 Outstanding Service Award. The award was presented on November 11th at the organization’s annual Festival of Lights Ball.

Mr. McHugh has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, NY, since 2012. He has also served on the Board’s Ball Committee and Planning and Building Committee, and this year was appointed to the Personnel Committee. St Joseph’s has served the City of Yonkers, New York City, Westchester, and the Hudson Valley for close to 130 years. The annual ball is the largest and most important event it holds every year, with proceeds going towards ensuring the highest quality healthcare for patients and residents throughout its service area.

The award was presented by James Landry, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and reflects Mike’s personal dedication to giving back, not just to St. Joseph’s but also to the wider community in which he lives and where he has spent his entire working life. He is co-chair of Manhattan College’s mentoring program and a member of its Advisory Board for the Civil Engineering Department, a Trustee of the Moles organization, and a member of several committees for the General Contractor’s Association of New York (GCA). He is also a member and current President of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, Westchester County.

The Moretrench family extends its congratulations to Mike and to his fellow honoree Louis C. Rose, MD, on this very special achievement.
