Mr. Tuozzolo brings more than 27 years of industry-specific project experience and considerable senior management expertise to his position as Senior Vice President for Moretrench’s Geotechnical Division. In this capacity, he has overall responsibility for all facets of the work undertaken through the Division’s corporate location and regional offices, providing critical project design, planning and organizational insight, support and guidance to his engineering, operations and administrative staff. Mr. Tuozzolo has extensive expertise in the design and construction of earth retention systems. He is one of the foremost experts on the East Coast in the field of soil nailing and has been involved with some of the most complex and deepest excavation support systems built. Mr. Tuozzolo’s deep foundation expertise includes micropile foundation systems for new construction and for structural upgrade, drilled shafts (caissons), and continuous flight auger (CFA) piles.
Mr. Tuozzolo is active in the engineering community, serving in various capacities on industry Boards and committees. He is Past President of the National Board of the Association of Foundation Drilling and former Co-Chair of the Deep Foundations Institute Micropile Committee. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
